That's sick,
Like cloning is gonna bring back your pet.
they're goïng to be different in some way,
so you can better look for a new one.
they're playing a dangerous game, with that cloning stuff!

did you see the video footage of that kitten playing in the jar. It's cute as hell. I want it...

Although, 3 months from now it'll probably grow 4 arms out of it's back and start walking upsidedown.

...that would be cool for the parties though. :D

There are certain aspects of cloning that are good...namely, stem cell research and organ generation

this pet cloning is pretty disturbing though. they went through 80+ kittens before one survived. it's like watching the movie Alien with all the failed attempts in that one room. kinda creepy.

The medical research aspect of it is a potentially good side of cloning but rather than cloning kittens (of which hundreds are abandoned and in need of a home at your local RSPCA) these boffins should get to work on X Ray glasses that really work :D I've gone through 80 pairs that don't work trying to see through walls :D:D

i don't get it .... everywhere around the world cities are coping with an OVERLOAD of kittns, dogs and other pets being left in the street or animal shelters and now people wanna clone them as well..... TSK TSK TSK

Exactly.

The clone may look like your Rover, Spot, whatever but it certainly won't have its personality.
