Nice singing Mark, it's got a certain sound to it that not everyone can get. I wish I had some of my music anywhere, but my focus at this point is playing live every week and continuing to write songs. I've been playing guitar for 10 years, and for the last 5-6 years while finishing college, I didn't have a band, and could focus on learning to sing and play at the same time, and focus on the style of music that I play. All I've ever done is write/create music, I've never been into covers really. Since moving to Chicago in September, I've written about 8 songs that are complete, and after a pretty good weekend music wise, I now have about 15 songs waiting for lyrics to be written/finished that are either for the solo acoustic stuff I play live, or for an instrumental project my roomate and I are working on and possible bringing others into (so far it's he and I, electric guitar and keyboard) and also a more rock sounding band for the sake of enciting people to turn furniture over and spill their beer.
This weekened I've started recording everything into Cakewalk to prevent forgetting any arrangment I come up with, and to burn to cd to keep with me, as I normally write alot of lyrics while on the train to and from work.
BTW, Turin Breaks are quite good, I've heard that song and your voice is really great singing it.
