Anyone know if there's a price break on upgrading for students?
to the best of my knowledge, no. you'll have to pay the 199 upgrade price. someone correct me if i'm wrong.
I went to Macromedia seminar yesterday (in UK) and was told that for £180 I can get a student boxed set of Flash MX, Dreamweaver, fireworks and freehand (all with manuals etc). Now if that aint worth being a tax-dodging student for I dunno what is!
that used to be on the website (under products/lefthand side/directly under the picture) untill recently, it disapeared. i'm not sure what the price was, but it was a steal.Quote:

You have to buy the licence agreement through one of their software distributors, confirm it with macromedia and then they send you the software, bit of a hassle but hey, saves a heck of a lot of money. Oh you also get Flash 5 and then a free upgrade (dunno if this will change tomorrow or not).
