Hi masters!
I’ve a .swf file that does not work correctly on some PC, even though the Flash 5 player is correctly installed.
The problem occurs both when wiewing the file through a browser or the stand alone player.
I’ve solved the problem by removing the plug in and reinstalling from scratch (or by installing Flash 5 and installing the plug in for the browser as well).
Installing Flash 5 without installing the plug in in the browser made the .swf work correctly only through the stand alone player.
Downloading the player from macromedia.com did not make any difference!
What I need to know is:
when I download the player from macromedia.com do I get just the stand-alone player? Or do i get to “refresh” the plug in of the browser I’m using?
Thanks for your help

u usualy get the Standalone Player which whill be flashpla.exe with the SOftware .... and you will get the Browser Plugin from the donaload site of macrmd. i think

he's right... 'cause once you install flash it automatically install everything you need from stand alone player to the plug ins.... your not using the pirated cd right? :) just follow the intallation instruction and you'll do just fine.

The thing is that the SWF works correctly only if I install Flash 5 (infact on my PC everything is fine).
I've tried on a different pc, WITH the correct plug in installed, and the file did not work correctly, only to start working once I've installed Flash 5 there too.
any more help?
