I am trying to open a flash 5 movie from flash 5 , and it keeps giving me this message "Failed to open document"
can someone Help please!!!!

make sure the fla isnt read-only (right click>Props>uncheck "Read Only") and make sure its reall a flash 5 doc. becuase flash will not open a flash mx FLA. otherwise i would say your hosed. :(

did you delete by accident or move it to another folder??? Try searching for it in window explorer

Yep, try Vipe's suggestion. Other wise the file has been corrupted. And you're pretty much hooped.
HAve you tried searching MM's site for any relevent help files?
