I wonder if a rudimentary flight sim would be possible in flash, i´ve never seen any approach to such a project and i´d like to know if any of you guys have seen something like that.

Yeah, this is not a hard thing to make.
Just take the Busta Craft source file. Then make the terrain 'seem' farther below. Also modify the formulas so that the **** goes up and down instead of front to back.
Then create some simple shapes and have them come closer and closer with a hitTest in them. If the plane hits the object it crashes.
I'm just giving you the jist, and some assurance that it very possible and not that difficult.
3D math?
You might need lots and lots of math knowledge but it relay isn’t all that hard to program basic stuff from what I have read.
I have a hole bunch of math sites booked marked at work… “I not that good at math so I have found them useful” I could post the URLs tomorrow from work if it helps?
I am strove interested in the possibility of 3D games in flash so I might try to understand it better… maybe we could do some research together to determine the practicalities and limitations?

the code has only 6 lines. I can't give this fla cause i am not the only owner, but i can help by private mail for such engine.
