second site:
the menu should come out more, when I entered the site, I thought the lower menu with the backgrounds was the main menu. Could be I'm just stupid ;), but try to make the upper menu more eye-catching. Also, perhaps try to blend the main menu in with the rest of the site, it just doesn't have the same look and feel of the windows or the lower menu. And the window last chosen should appear on top of the other windows.
Just a few ideas.

first site:
I don't like the brown, it makes me thinks of something old and smelly ;) , but thats just my opinion off course.
I agree with verto on the white. The arrow is confusing, it doesn't look like an e-mail link.

With some work, these can become nice sites, keep it up!

The first site... took a bit to load - a little preloader would be perfect ;)
And I agree about the font.. don't quite like it...

The second one... didn't load, sorry to say ;( stopped at 17%... emptied my cache and history, reconnected and tried it again, still no luck... sorry...

the preloader problem is a problem everyone has, I can't even see the preloader, and it takes a while to load the second site.

I'm going to redesign the first site, so it gets a better (fresh) look ;).
