Been a bad weekend in my little part of the world - death and sorrow all over - first the guy down the street - now the bus :(

from our news here, the US in general is having a very bad time right now in terms of accidents and natural disasters.
That accident was horrendous and the fires in the western states look as bad as what we had here a little while ago.
Have they worked out what happened there to cause such chaos??

Is that the bus from Metro Church? I know alot of people that go to that church, and I'm still trying to find out which of them were killed. My brother goes to that church, but he didn't go to camp because he couldn't get off work THANK GOD!

I have a sister and a brother who are in a church youth group currently visiting and touring Texas in a bus. With that news, I almost fell of my chair. I rushed and read the news to find out who and where they came from. With the pictures, I thought I recognized the people and bus involved in the fatal accident. Luckily, our church youth group aren't the one in the news. According to the news, there were reportedly 200 teens from the Metro Church in Garland aboard the two buses. Our group has only one bus boarding about 43 teens. Thank God, they are safe. Our family is deeply saddened by what has happened. Our thoughts and prayers are with each and every member of this horrible accident. May God be with you.
Ya that was horrid and Im an Az boy and my cabin is up there near the fires of course Im lucky its just stuff there are people that actually live up there that are totally uprooted near the chedisky/rodeo fire. You can even see the smoke from outer space..http://www.nasa.gov/images/0624_firelg.jpg

This has been a very bad year for travelers of I-20 ... Several fatality accidents in the last several months ~ a 6 member family plowing into the back of an 18 wheeler ~ a group of 5 teens in an SUV all died in an accident and more - it's so sad :( I don't live far from Terrell (where the accidents happened) - my husband's work has several employees who are members of the church ...
And the fires are awful - I feel so bad for the people who've lost their homes ... How on earth do you manage a fire of that magnitude? I cannot even begin to imagine ...

I think Nostradamus had predicted that fire ocurrance in western states. On his prediction, he stated that there will be a great fire in the West on the second millennium.
Our prayers are with the families of the church in Texas that has suffered this tragic loss!
