ummm have you ever tought that maybe there is no such a thing as 3D nor 2D or any dimension for that matter?
that all we see and feel is just an illusion?
therefore we never die we only think we do?
ummmmm....

sorry but have you been watching the Matrix a few to many times there magnetos?? ;)
3D exists.
quick way to test. put something close to you. then move it away. it get's smaller.
amazing, huh?
well yes but instead of being a huge computer in this case
the matrix is something that most people call God
i love that movie anyway i cant wait for matrix2 :}

nope gerbick thats what your brain thinks it sees
just when youwatch tv it looks like 3d but its an illusion
is it an illusion, or just that your eyes perception is replaced with the camera's perception?
ever think that camera's emulate out eyes?
therefore, perspective exists. if all was 2D, I could reach out, grab the glass of water next to my desk in one hand, and since there is no Z depth, reach out, and type on your keyboard too. everything would be equidistant in depth. only width and height would exist.
that would be a 2D world.
<yawn>
so where do you think you belong?
perhaps you should've ask, "Does things exist?"
yes they do!
This is the real world, every object you touch including water and air is consist of atoms, and atoms is consist of protons, neurons, etc. Your illlusion exist too, they are made up of atoms working inside your brain making such thoughts as coding in binary.
gerbick immagine for amoment you are inside a movie on your tv now you strecht your arms to get the glass of water you still be able to get the water wont you?
and your body will still made out of atoms and electrons
stop confusing me! :D
interesting one this, cant argue aboutit , im just gonna say it does exist!
We are living on a bran, basta! ;) (Just ask Hawkins)
Fredi
that's where you're wrong. atoms are specified as having a mass. with mass, you can determine, in a specific point of time, not only X and Y, but also Z. Therefore, it will always have 3 dimensions. so, you're deduction is flawed.
also, to be "inside" of something, you will have to be able to either laterally, vertically, or horizontally maneuver into that space. space... always 3 dimesions. the motion you described in your example... also 3 dimensional.
but, you want to confuse things? try taking 0! and 1! (zero and one factorial) and then use that in regards to describing an instant of a mass. At that specific point, where 0! and 1! are the constants of that mass at that time, it's possible that two identical masses could possibly, if the aforementioned factorial was ever used to describe a mass, that the 2D and 3D object values for the object would be the same. therefore, it would mean that 3D and 2D are all the same at once. But both conditions would exist, and both would be solveable.
In otherwords, you have an anomaly, that's only attainable in a perfect situation, but it would still prove that 2D and 3D both exists.
Other proofs/examples exists.
did u actually write that out?? or nick it off a website, lol
Until I am completly proven otherwise I am going to trust my brain on this matter, it has showen me 3d It has showen me that although I can touch this keybaord I can't reach out my window and touch that powerline without movin along the Z axis. If our world was 2d, then it would be very messy. Also, our world could not exsists in a 2d because everythink is made up of atoms, and atoms have to have depth, because there can't be anything perfectly flat, or else it wouldn't exsists.
ummm i wonder if i could chat on line with stephen hawckins about this :) ??
we arguing about three dimension some theorist claim that we could have more than 8 or more ...
i wonder if we truly understand the concept of "demension"
hey subway whats a bran basta ??
all my verbiage. I'm a secret physics fanatic. just love the subject.Quote:

I used to want to be a research physicist, but it hit me... those dudes are TOO DAMN smart!! :D
well that, and I already had a dual major. I had enough classes to almost declare Physics/Mathematics as a minor.
besides, I was using physics algorithms in the 3D animation routines/rendering methodology that me and a friend was writing from the ground up... cool stuff actually!
magnetos, take a look at super-string theory. the dimensions stretch to 22, with an infinite possibility of more between the strings. Cool stuff actually.
a good read here. that's the abstract I'm dissecting at the moment.
damn. did I just admit I was a geek? ;)
It's like the string theory, but not with a 1 dimension string, but with a 11 dimension bran. Something like that. Can't find an article right now.Quote:

mmm ok, i think ill stick with design as my forte at the mo, maths and physics arnt really my thing, lol
actually what you said is partially true... we live in 4D, being the fourth dimension the time. 2D is an abstraction, since any matter in our known universe exists in 3D. but you might also consider giving up LSD, at least for some period... :P
isnt 5th probability? after that, i dont remember any of em, but i remember reading somewhere about it (long time ago)Quote:
