Actually, you don't have to hit escape to exit you can program a Get URL javascript close self button and it'll do the same thing
There's a javascipt technique you can use that involves to pages. In the first page you will post an open window javascript command with the source pointing to the SWF file and to close all you need to do is assign a button the Get URL command assign it Javascript window close command
