Hi
Are you using TrueType, PostScript or System fonts?
Are they proportional or not?
Please provide font names, OS and version for more testing.

Can you send the SWI and SWF files to [email protected].
Cheers, David.
No problem. I just sent them off. The problem is using the Webdings font. When you import the SWF into flash, the webdings font gets replaced with another font. Really odd. It may be a flash issue, I'm not sure.
This looks very much like a bug in Flash. Try this experiment in Flash: Type some text with the Webdings font, and export the movie to SWF. Now close the movie, create a new movie, and import the SWF you just exported. The font changes to Arial.
This seems to happen with all "symbol" fonts (it happens with fonts like Wingdings as well) but not "letter" fonts.
I can think of a workaround, but that would require modifying Swish to always export shapes rather than fonts. Keep reminding me about this one, and I will add it to my to-do list for version 1.01.
Cheers, David.
Thanks for the quick reply David. Here is some more information, you can actually work-around the problem (sort of) by editing the actual symbol once you import it into Flash. You have to highlight the letter (which should be a wingding symbol) and change it to another font, then you can change it back to WIngdings and it appears properly. WHile this works, it's a bit of a hassle and also requires you to move the symbol around a bit. Just thought I'd let you know so you can post it in your FAQ as a work-around.
I am so busy writing software it was really nice to find something that allowed me to add a little pizzaz to our site without taking away from my real c++ work :) Thanks for the great program!!!

I just purchased Swish last week. I created a movie in swish using various dingbats and webdings. It looks great if I export it from swish and play the SWF file, but as soon as I import the SWF into FLASH some of the fonts change to something else. It's like Flash doesn't know the fonts? Really weird. ANyone have any ideas?
i have the same problem .. when i finish my animation and put in webpage for see the file appears with character and broken letters.
