I have to run a number of email campaigns over the next few weeks. These are not spam, we have a registered list of subscribers who are willing to receive the email.

In the past, I have simply designed the email, produced the html and images and then we have used a third party company to send them.

The thing is, we are to do this all in-house now. I know which way I would prefer to do it (designed in photoshop) - created in html - sent with outlook and the names mail merged in from word but because of the high security that my company upholds (its online gambling, we have to be secure), outlook is frowned upon.

Does anyone have any experience of this kind of push email campaign and if so, what did you use?

Do a search for emailing programs. I've been investigating them too, but all the info's at the office.

But what I have fond out is that you can by commercial email programs that you can run yourself with all the features you want, and doesn't send from Outlook, and it will cost you a couple of hundred US to purchase outright.

Those companies that charge **** loads to email for you are laughing all the way to the bank! I've heard of some charging like $10,000 or more for a mailout, for something I can do with a $200 program!

about 10,000.

We have a list of registered users, we offer them free bets and offers so they sign up for the newsletter eagerley. They only receive it if they request it.
