The FBI thinks so. They are urging the IRS to revoke their tax exempt status. Apparently the FBI has evidence of hundreds of donations to convicted criminals to aid their crimes. These crimes include arson, bombings, etc...all done with PETA's money.
It will be hard to dodge this one. The president of PETA himself has said he wished all fast food restaurants and slaughter houses would blow up...in the past.
So..PETA terrorists? Or just a coincidence?

Got a link for your info clif! I'm not familiar with Peta.. other then the supermodels it uses to depromote animal eating/testing.
I think any organization which uses scare tactics to deter people from doing what they are legally allow to do (be it eating meat, wearing fur, or abortion) qualify as terrorists

I suspect as with most of these "friendly" organisations, there's probably more going on behind the scenes that one doesn't hear about. I'm not convinced they're terrorists though .. but it's tough because the FBI have never made a mistake ... who to trust .. ? !
FBI has made plenty of mistakes...in the form of justice department breaches, but I trust them when they conclude that PETA is a major supporter of domestic terrorims..

A. They DID donate money to people to support them.
B. I heard audio of one of the speeches with someone saying along the lines of - "If all the fast food chains and banks supporting them blew up, I feel that would definitely be appropriate."
So, based on evidence and based on that audio, I think they at least have supported people associated with terrorist crimes.
how could an organization stand for keeping animals alive when in the wild animals are killing other animals for food...just doesn't make any sense

You can kill something and still be ethical.
PETA originally protested uneccessary expirementation and torture. They made great lenghts in reducing the amount of animal testing. The most successful being the change in the cosmetic industry.
Now they have become more extreme losing effectivenes and credibility.
why not the use of the word dissapear than exploded. The constituion does allow free speech, although numereous laws have curtailed that. His use of wording is suggestive though.Quote:

Eviromentalists drive SUV's to their conferences...the World Hunger Orginization delegates show up in Limos and are treated to gourmet food.
It is crazy.
PETA has shown that they have no regard for the law...they purposefully disregard the law to make a point.
Civil disobedience has been the name of their game...it doesn't surprise me they've paid off people who have burnt down testing facilities (killing the animals with in...go figure :p), blown up SUV's, etc..
It's pure madness.

Yeah there are safety laws that prevent invoking panic say by yelling Fire in a theatre, etc.
but what he said is legal- just like unfortunately people can say leaglly- "it would be great if every (insert minority group here) was shot dead tonight". -- its not nice but its legal and thats better than nice
