Who sells the cheapest domain names in North America?

If you do buy a cheap domain name from somewhere like godaddy.com be sure that you know what you're getting into. A lot of these places include a clause in the contract saying you have to keep the domain with them for a certain amount of time and make it difficult if not impossible for you to transfer the domain away after that time.
in the end you always get what you pay for.

www.godaddy.com is by far the cheapest. They also have a deal on now $5-7 bucks for .US websites.
About $9 USD for .com
I use www.lowcostnames.co.uk
my personall favorite, www.powerpipe.com $7.99/year thats who I use, great service, and its setup in about 14hrs (I registered with them on 4 different occasion , all were around that time)
