A lot better than other sites we've seen by them, but still doesn't live up to the standards of the original site. The site had some cool animation aspects (like that hot girl that appears), but there are some careless aspects too (the preloader just stays on 0%). Overall it's a decent site I would say, but by no means very 'cool'.
Well..they live up to my expectations i have of WhosWe. I think the site is very good. You guys think they are gonna make a new whoswe site for they're every new client ? I am glad they stayed away from using the excact same teqniques. This site has what the site needs !
better than the other sites they did, but still nothing impressive
i thought it was pretty good... i'm guessing the content isnt done though?
loads of bugs, i'm guessing the site isn't finished, I'm interested to know how do people keep finding these whoswe sites, as I see no portfolio on their site to link from??

mmmmmmmmm interesting
Looks like they still can't deliver as much as their own site did...
good question nevil, where do people find these sites.
ok those graphics were not done in flash...so how did they animate them? That's my biggest flash question ever. How do you make external graphics and then import them but be able to animate them?
the animations are predefined in whatever program they are created, in this case probably 3D Studio max or something, you cannot change the animations once in flash, you would need to re-render new animations and re-import the string of picture files into flash, the only elements which you can change in flash are those elements that where created inside flash.Quote:

Ok take http://www.kmx-designs.de for instance...when his page loads...how is that done? He just imports a crap load of animations or something? I'm a bit confused.
Yes, they should make a new whose we every time. They should try to push the envelope. Even if they don't make a new whose we, they could put a little more time and effort into their projects. The site is sub-standard. They have no style that is theirs (not necesarily a bad thing). The site also most definately does not have what it needs. Like I said it has a couple little nifty animations (which are NOT needs) but does not have a basic professional looking site. It seems that whose we got like 7 jobs at once and did a half-arsed job on all of them. Like I said before the preloader doesn't work, and click on "club arriba"; it opens a broken link in a new window, and opens the counter-part to the original window in the same frame. In there the logo for "club arriba" is covered by the imported (and useless) dollar bills picture, which tells us nothing about the site or the club anyways. Little things like this make a site look sloppy and badly designed. And yes that means that it does NOT have what it needs, only what it doesn't.Quote:

ah they are evolving, they are refining, and they are learning...
It is better than their other sites, although there some problems.
It could be better, cleaner, and smoother.
Hey is "techno" spelled "tchno" in spanish. I saw that in the intro.
And where do you people find these sites??? Or did they tell you
to post their site here, so we can do a critique on it??
A little human experimentation perhaps?
i agree. the site looks thrown together and tacky as well if you ask me (which of course none of you did). then again, the whoswe.com site is tacky too so i shouldn't be surprised.Quote:

Whos we has had a lot of popularity recently. People have looked in their porfolio site: (http://www.whoswe.com if you haven't seen it).Quote:

It's hard to argue with you when you don't back up your statments . whoswe.com is a great site, nicely put together and not tacky in my opinion. There are no sloppy mistakes or anything.Quote:

They post their latest sites in the News section of their HTML site.Quote:

well, i'm not really looking for an argument. :) i was more or less just voicing an opinion. many will probably disagree with the "tacky" comment but it all boils down to preference/taste i suppose. anyway, here's what i think is tacky about it since you're asking:Quote:

1. carving "the best" into a rock in the "who are we" section... now that's tacky.
2. the graphics in the preloader section...
3. all the chrome and neon...
4. the joined windows graphic in the "what we do" section...
i don't hate the site or anything but i don't think it's very nice from a design standpoint. the eyecandy is fun but overall it's not amazing. i actually think the cigar box looks pretty cool but what point does it serve? where is the tie-in? this is a feeling i get continually with the site.
so, in a nutshell i'd say that the images are crisp but the design seems a bit imature is all. hopefully this won't fan the flames too much but you did want a more in depth answer.
we have different opinions and i can respect that. :)
