goto and play problem plz help

ive made my navbar inside a movie clip and my movie has 12 scenes the problem is i cant put a regular goto and play scene or any thing it stays inside the movie clip and doesnt go any where does anyone know the code for that

I have done it with labeling a frame on each scene

example.

Scene3 frame1 i label it s3f1
