Just beat Hitman 2....
Little dissapointed.
Don't get me wrong...great improvments over last version, but it still has some down points.
Overall, a very fun game.
For one, the 3d is a lot better. In C47 things looked sloppy.
Story is more realistic...there's actually a method to the madness.
Better cut sequences and briefings, etc..
Downpoints:
Story isn't immersive. Unlike Max Payne or Dugeon Siege (the last 2 games I got addicted to;)), the story isn't that interesting..or engaging.
They could fix this by making the story more personal, and the missions more related.
Also..levels are too easy. I beat this game in 3 days playing only a few hours each day. It just isn't that hard. I haven't tried the hardest mode, but that isn't the point. The level storylines could be deeper and more complicated if you ask me.
Ending is anti-climatic. Ending is so easy. If they really wanted to make it difficult at all, they would have at least made it so that Sergei would attempt to kill the priest if you were to noisy. Instead he sits around while you dust everyone with machine guns. At the end he jumps out so you can put a few bullets in his head. The priest is never used as a life preserver as you would expect.
With such a stupid last level, the game feels really short. In most games, you start out with easy levels and move to increasingly harder levels. In this game the hardest most challenging levels are in the middle of the game.
With better storylines, harder levels, and a more personal over all story this game would rate 10 with me. As it stands, it is a 6 or 7.
What do y'all think???

i think you should sleep more and play less.. ;D

how could the story get more personal!? they killed the priest with whom he was staying with... not like they kidnapped some princess. and he's out for some vengeance.
goes back to playing Metroid Prime...

I mean cut scenes should remind of you of the emotional attachment.
The way it is, it just assumes you know.
Max Payne uses all kinds of psychological devices that give a haunting feel... It really causes you to get wrapped up in the game.
