Newbie in Game building

I want to build a couple of simple games for a clients web site.

I am looking for a book on the subject, anyone know of such a beast?

i think that flash4 magic, has game tutorials in it, try searching for the book and see whats in the contents, im sure ive seen their web page.

on the otherhand (and a more reliable source), ask here on the board, and check out some of the tutes, cos theres some great ones to learn from.

How do you get that little River some Where SWF to add in as a signature file,

BTW it's great.

to write a game code,you first play game well.
if you not a good player, your game that other player must unwilling it.

However, what I was really after is how do you make it appear on the bottom of your message? Do you paste some code in there?

Demons, well I am not exactly sure where you are coming from. Sounds almost like something from the Karate Kid, although I think your trying to say I must be a player, to be a maker. don't worry mate, I spend far too much time online blowing people up.

the signature at the bottom of the footer, is part of your profile, you can have flash movies, text, or html code.

this is how i done mine, you upload the movie to somewhere, then link to it, using the following code;

[swf** width="240" height="50"]http://daz.inthehighlands.co.uk/waterscene.swf[/swf]

remove the two ** characters at the start of the code above, as i had to insert this so that it wouldnt see it as a footer and display the pic instead of the code..

i agree with you there demons, to make games you have to have an idea how they play, to give the best effect to the audience.
