Saw this in SITE CHECK!!

Graphically this site is quite stunning...but what I like most is some of the animation and transitions. Pretty original but top notch on the graphics.

yeh i really like the site, except the sound could be better and I didn't really like the transistions, but with that said I like the site very much. The graphics are great and the animations are cool too!

ok I will be first to point it out, if you havn't already seen www.2advanced.com check out first, then you will see where the animations came from!!
still it's a great effort anyway.

Nevil.... I will be the first to agree that there elements there that are, lets say "2a Inspired"

But the site has some very "Cool" elements that aren't

It's kind of a shame. It's a nice site. Too bad the designer couldn't break away from the 2a and fill the rest of the site out using his creativity.

yeesh 2a inspired indeed, the portfolio if about 70% the same as 2a's! Nether the less its a nice site, sorta a 2a spin off. Who cares? it looks good enough while maintaining functionability.

Very unique 2a inspired website. I like it... except for the graphic sitting on top.:D

it may be 2a inspired but the guy does know how to use Flash. I hope he gets more creative next time

I'm not digging the fact that there's a HUGE graphic on the TOP of a web page. I know it was designed for a 1024 screen, (800 users are SOL) but still, something about shooting your content lower down the screen seems a little..wrong. Guess it's just me. Anyway, he's got some nice things going on, but that useless graphic on top is..um..useless... if only it interacted with the rest of the content, then it might serve a purpose. Also, is it just me, or was there like 3 "loading" screens before actuall content popped up. excessive?

I'm not even going to touch the 2a thing. i think everyone who is a veteran on flashkit notices such things, and doesnt' need to be brought up all the time.

looks like pretty standard run of the mill stuff to me. It's alright but I dont think it deserves to be in Cool Sites. Take a look at it again, the look at another site in this forum and youll see what I'm getting at.

yes 2A ripped / inspired, but there is some original work there that looks good like the goo and the undersea stuff at the beginning.
As for the mamoth snake at the top, could be worse I suppose, like a mamoth chrome ball with a fedora on it sitting infront of a cigar box :p

yeah, the sounds were weak but the site itself was pretty good.
the layout is pretty similar to 2advanced, but the actual theme behind the site is really different (and quite creative). its not just some corportate looking cityscapes->its more surreal and interesting. I found the imagery much more intriguiging. i actually think the 2a layout is limiting what he could do with his creative skills.

and plz. ripped not inspired? ripping is when you directly take someones artwork or file to use as your own. You could say this guy COPIED the layout style, but its no way a rip of 2ad. so get that straight:)
