I'm working on something like this, but I'm still having trouble with the 3d engine. Those math lessons are just too far back in my memory ;)

Yep! I would say a 3D flash game engine is more then possible with F5. Unfortunately there are some limitations that would probably restrict the game to wire frames. But never the les it is possible.
