I know this is dumb questions but I have both 3.7 and 4 versions and I still can't find a way to import any kind of vector graphics.
also can't seem to import 3.7 movies (crashes) and 3.7 swf files ( crashes)

Same thing happened to me a while back with WMF files. Probably in the same version. This sounds like a bug, though, so this is not technically the best place for it. However, you can send it by email to the 3DFA support desk at [email protected] and that should let them know.
Thanks JDS. I still don't know how to import any kind of vector graphics.:) :) Jim
So you are under the impression that you could????Quote:

I don't see that as an option anywhere..... Look at the choices for load element. I see Bitmap,BMP,JPG,PNG,PSD,TGA,GIF
I agree it would be nice if some of the vector formats like SVG was avaialable.
Good point. All I know was in the time I began using 3dfa (before the 3d part was there) it was possible to import wmf files, as I already said. That stopped working and is now obviously removed. Someone should send that to the development team as a suggestion or something.
why don't you just save the wmf image as a gif? Then you should be able to import it.
If you import as a gif you can't do things like morph.
Yes YOU should send that suggestion inQuote:
