Most awsome flash shoot em up???
Like the zombie, the game play though is far from being the most awsome flash shoot em up as you put in your subject, something about the target and the gun just don't feel right, don't look right either, all wrong. I didn't enjoy all the pop up windows on your page either! And isn't 290k just a bit to much for a flash game as simple as this?
Just giving you an honest opinion is all.
The music loop by the way I believe is from the myst game sound track, atleast it sounds awfully familuar.

umm, did you read my post?!
You seem to have misunderstood my message.
I NEVER said you lie, or say something is great when it's not.
I just said that if you knock something to back it up with ways to fix it!

Getting back to Zombie Blast....
Okay, thanks for the critisism - I'll certainly try to make some improvements.
However, I am interested BullFrawg, you mentioned on more than one occasion that "people put up simplistic games" and that if a game "blows" people should be told. Well Are you saying that Zombie Blast blows? I'm only asking because if you truely don't like it I'd like to know how you think I can improve it.
Also in response to Oxbloods comments - well to be honest the gun was used really as a means for eye candy - it's not required but I like it when people take the time to add such touches - I think it makes the whole package a lot more professional. The game was 290k becuase of the 3d to vector files used and the many sfx throughout the game - okay it may seem excessive but what you have here is actually a 30% cut down version for the Net. My client "TheDotComCafe" has purchased a full 3 level version which they intend to publish to CD as part of a company presentation(I'm currently working on it at the moment).
I agree, point and click games will not have you coming back for more but if thats what the client pays for this is what they get! As mentioned in a previous post, the game maybe a simple game engine but the presentation and execution was designed to be comparitive to a console game.
On a final note, I do agree that if a game, website or anythign has something wrong, then the designer should be told - but it also would be nice to hear any reccomendation they might make. I see a lot of terrible sites and games posted in these forums which receive acclaim and praise from every angle...okay so Zombie Blast may not be "the most awesome" Flash shoot-em-up but it's not the worst either....

Gambini,
Sorry if I was unclear. I definitely did not mean to say Zombie Blast blows! Of all these types of Flash games I've seen it is certainly one of the best. You have done a very good job of producing a professional presentation in this game.
And, I agree with you completely that there is a place for this type of game. As a hard-core PC gamer for the past 20 years or so, I've come to have pretty high expectations and sometimes I fail to see the value in a simpler game.
But I do still get nuts when someone posts a "game" that is poorly drawn, poorly executed with simplistic or no game play and then folks respond by telling them it rocks!
Glad to hear you've sold your game. Congrats and good luck! :)
