Ok, my problem is this: I need to create a logo for an acupuncture clinic called Nanjing Acupuncture. As you can imagine, it is not terribly easy to create the right logo, let alone one for an acupuncture clinic. I would like to stick to the usual graphic/text format, so any ideas would be tremendously appreciated. This is a damn tough one me thinks. Thanks all. :)
Stream of thought brainstorming:
Outline of a women's torso from the back, with head turned to the right, posed elegantly, pressure points shown with warm red or blue fuzzy dots, all wrapped in a circle. Hair a little wavy, very relaxed, fluid look. Body posed similar to the starman on the Rush "Hemispheres" album art, arm extended, like a dancer.
Try to imply benefit of cure/relaxation, as opposed to the thrill of having little needles stuck in ya.;)
I'll bet this didn't help.:)

The top of the text flowing in a shape of a back (lying down), and the needles stuck the text.

nice logo, looks kinda like the Samsung Logo
i just did a search for samsung and the logo is similar, but then again its just an oval with some text in the middle, i think it be hard to draw a true comparison just based on that - arh what do i care i just chucked something together cos i was bored :D
stone cold where did u get that lady shape from ? did u drw it or copyed?????
i found a pic of a person and just traced around it with the pencil tool.
is that classed as copying?
