blo*dy scroll bar compnent _ _ _

hi,

i'm having yet more problems with the old components. The scroll bar is such a simple work of genius, but doesn't want to work form me. I have a dynamic text box, multiline:

variable Name: displayBox
instance name: theBox

this gets filled with some data by using displayBox = "whatever"

I have a scroll box, Target Text Field = theBox

but does it work, ohhhh no, that'd be to much to ask, apparently.

Any ideas?
