The issue is not that it's a competition, the problem is that it's NOT a valid competition. There are several legit comps in there.

i agree with emm_eye i don't get it either but i guess he have to wait for news from jstarkey, it's just that this lack of info makes us think all sorts of things :mad:

i think its because the prize is $1000 and a steady job. its against the rules to post jobs and stuff...
i think anyway.
i think the steady job thing has been done by a lot of people... the last competition i won was a steady job one with a small amount of money!!!
and this being $1000 is even better!! :p

The main reason was due to the submission being "steered" to the way he wants them. That makes it unfair for the people who have already submitted. You can't judge a contest until all the submissions are recieved.
But, yes, the job is against FK policy, which means I have to shut it down.
I'm looking into a way to moderate posts in the comp forum as soon as I have my breakfast and coffee.
Bacon, or anyone would you mind posting a test in that forum? I've set up a moderator queue, so that we can at least open it up for everyone again.Quote:

well.. i know.. its gonna take some time till i get to see my post.. but then once its up.. will i be able to edit it.. and after editing?? does it go into the queue again?? and if it doesn't.... u know what a lot of people could do!! :hubba:
