loading image externally.

I'm not new to action script. But I have never tried to load an image externally. And I was wondering how I would go about doing this?

it never ever fails. Right after I posted that I figured it out.

Okay I got the image loading in and such, but I was wondering how I would make a preloader for the image(s)?
