it's just the "Grassroots Crew" font looks a bit common.
Hot dang thats awesome. where would that go on the shirt though?

yeah I was afraid of that. maybe no one else will think that though. shhh.. :shhh:
i like the design a lot, though if it's going to be printed as a t shirt, i would "vectorize" it and simplify the colours - although it will print ok as it is, i would get rid of the grungy aspect and have another design with plain colours (green & black in this case) and then compare.
:great:
right here.Quote:

this is just a suggestion, but instead of how you have it on the shirt now, how about this?
yo man that is a great idea. ill see what the guys think about it. thanks alot bro.
i've done quite a few t shirts over the years most of the guys i use/d run with max print area front and back of 10 inches square, u can get the bottom of the sleeve printed as well but they charge a lot more for that (even tho its just a tiny space)
nayades's idea is really cool but before u set out designing, i would make sure they can do it. if its a 2 colour job u are looking at 4 screens and the print guy will have to align them to meet up with the front and back, there is a man out there who can do it but at a guess it will cost u alot per t shirt
if u do enquire post to let us know the outcome
bp
will do. thanks man. ive never done a shirt this detailed before, how do you think the details of it will come out?
and whats the dpi i need to work in, if its not vector? 600 right?
thanks man.
u can print from photoshop and the quality is ok but its never as crisp as when its done in illustrator/freehand (vector art)
one guy i used last year only used the channels from photoshop to separate the screen colours (that was a 4 colour job) with base white (5 colours)
if it was mine i would vectorise it using streamline and the rework the areas that look poor, i do like brushes in photoshop but at a guess the will get bastardized when turned to vector art (they might look really good though) its worth a try just to see how it turns out
(the 4 colour stuff i sent was 300 dpi) they were ok with it but as i learned all printers do thing different ways depending on what kit they have etc
bp
why wont it be as crips even if it was done in 600 dpi and only 200 is required?
Wow, that is realy sweet dude! That is a ****load better than most of the digital art you see around.
*phew* im glad im actually getting posotive feeback from this. i was afraid id get bashed.
and some "positive" feedback as well:Quote:

-update-
they said they were gonna print it on a hoodie. so. also, i tossed them the idea Iamtheflasher had. awaiting a response now.
I wonder how extremely hard it would be to print the head phones on the hood of the hoddie? Now that would be cool!
No-Tec, check your pm's man!
I just did, sorry, what did you want me to send you again?
