need ways to improve my winME

and i dont mean changing my OS......yet...

-i need to improve speed
-change dektop
-make a flash screensaver
-anything else...

do you need so many apps running in your system tray? That *might* improve speed.

Other than that, I'll suggest it because I'm sure everyone else will, formatting and installing a decent os is probably the best bet!

im not changing my os yet...

and i need it to look good enough for my cable connection :D

You have a lot going on in the system tray... Maybe you could change a few of those applications to not open on start-up.

Clear out your temp folders (ie and windows (choose "start" then "run" then type "%temp%"))

Empty your recycling bin...

Format drive.

Install Windows 2000.

You'll be amazed at the difference.

try this little gem, its a disk cleaner, its file installation size is just over 320 kb and will clean out all those un needed files your pc aquires.

I been running it for nearly two years and love it to bits.
