Im planning on buying a 9x12 wacom Intuos 2 tomarrow, costs around as much as some design software, I would like to know, before spending the money if it is worth it.
Please give me and idea of whether you like it alot, use it enough to make it worth it..ect.. What your able to do with it.
So far from other threads ive read it looks good, but would like some more opinions.

Got the 12 x 12 right here as we speak. Use it for everything. I haven't had a mouse on my machine in four or five years.
Personally, i think it has a lot more applications than tracing. I find it a lot faster to use, especially with larger displays. You don't have to mouse across the screen to get to a palette or select a tool. It's direct point and click. For any sort of serious Photoshop work, it's a must.
The biggest advantage for me, however, is my health. I used to have serious problems with my wrist using a mouse all day. I tried all sorts of different mice and desk/ergonomic set ups, but always had issues. Since switching to a tablet, i haven't had any problems at all. I can work all day on a tablet without any strain at all.
Granted, everyone is built differently, but that's been my experience.
