That's it. It is my quest in life to find me an Amazon.
I have to say I only really liked the rollovers.
I could have sworn that I've seen that effect with the curved "c" type lights swirling around in the flashkit movies/tutorials. You can see it in the middle of the rollovers. I like the music.
The layout is pretty reflective of the game, so it works for me. Though I have a rule of thumb, never to buy Lucasarts game, they play horribly. Only Blizzard games for me... well, and Quake. :)

was that navigation rollover done with after effects?
No it was done with a bitmap image, vector, and actionscript
seriously? Do you have or know of any examples of how I can accomplish an effect similar to this?
cheers,
The examples I think are in the movies here at Flashkit. In either case, break down the rollover effect:
1. A quick explosion - fade / transition.
2. The stars - you can create the motion with actionscript or do basic tweening.
3. The twirling arcs - I know this is a tutorial/movie somewhere, which you can set a counter/timer on so that it'll eventually fade away.
4. The constant middle motion - is simply moving fades.
And tada, you got it.
you did see it in flashkit it is 100% taken from there they just put a gold tint on it...Quote:
