Hi,
Building this and would like some feedback on design, functionality and useabilty.
It uses a demo pop3 account I created: [email protected]
If you send an e-mail to that address you should recieve it there.
I've found one bug; if you reply or forward a message and you don't type anything extra, the formatting get's lost.
If you find more bug I would be glad to hear it :)

I can read english better. But from what I can tell it works just fine. I like the feel of it. I suggest making it have individual dragable "window panels" like windows has.

I like dragable windows, maybe I convert it to that (would be a lot of work because now it's just framejumps instead of movieclips). But I'm not 100% sure if it would be better; in a browser you can only drag a window 'inside' the flash and when someone is on 800*600 there would be nothing to drag (only off screen).

P.S. I'm thinking of a sort of external language pack, a textfile with all the text in it; that wouldn't be to difficult or to much work.
The only thing I didn't like was that the buttons didn't really have much feedback to them.. i think what you have is a great engine, now just build on it and make the buttons have tool tips, or put the words right in it... because you have a swoopy arrow on an envelope doesn't always mean "reply" ... see what I'm saying?
Ironically I was going to have a go at flash mail, but it looks like you already beat me to the punch... it's REALLY nice work, I just think it needs a little "love" in terms of design... It looks far too cold and windows looking... the magic of flash is that you have creative freedom... so use it!
If you ever need help or testing, or whatever with this project, let me know.. I'm a sucker for a good RIA!

great idea! nice, tight and easy interface... make clear what all the buttons mean(like send, new message etc.)

Hi there, I tried to click on the link you provided but it down't work anymore (ID and password required).
I am trying to provide a webmail interface in my flash presentation and wondered if that's what you did too.
I've been looking hard all over the internet for a PHP script that does the job, but since I'm not really familiar with PHP I can't get it to work.
Could you help me out? Where did you get the PHP (if it's PHP at all...)?
