I just got Flash MX (6.0)

:D Hi everyone I am new to the forum, this is probably the only one I will use since I am a major n00b. Anyway, I have been trying to make a birthday card for my dad with flash, and I can't figure it out. I don't need any sound yet so I dont have to worry about that, but I can't figure out the button and frame idea. The way I had it set up is so that there is a scene that has frame one being a picture that says, "guess what you get for your birthday dad!" and then I set it up so that the second scene had two frames. One that said what the present was and then an alternate frame that had like firework stuff that went back and forth to make it look spiffy. And I am quite confused (this being my first flash animation ever) Can somone plz help me and tell me if this is the correct way to go about things. Oh and btw I bought a book on flash, Flash 5 Cartooning but it hasn't helped me much, it just talks about how to draw cartoons and the style involved, and I am fully informed with that, and am a very good artist. So if somone could fill in these gaps it would be very, very helpful!

Go Help>Tutorials>Introduction to Flash. They only take a little while and they help you with most of your problems.
