I found an iPod in stock in PC World, yes my 40GB iPod is now charging as I'm importing some of my albums. It was the last one in stock :D

I could be the third.
However, I purchase an extended warranty with my iPod. So about each 12-14 months, I get a new one.

This will help u with the battery issue, it was the first thing i checked when i got mine.

there were actually 5 class action suits filed in december against apple regarding this.
