rotate image but much faster

Hi all,
I am trying to get an image to rotate and fade into a second solid image. My problem is that the rotation is very slow and not smooth. How can I accelerate and smooth this rotation?

Increase the movie speed -- menu bar Movie > Movie Speed

Here is a tutorial on adjusting movie speed which can also be applied to what you are doing:

Bob's suggestion will increase the speed of the entire movie. If you want the movie speed to remain the same and only increase the speed of the rotating object, then place the object into a movie clip, adjust it's speed, then insert the clip into your main movie.
