Is it possible to make just a basic instant messenger program?(Like msn or aol instant messenger)
All I need are buttons to:add a contact(email address)
And to be able to talk with someone.
Just the basic stuff in a messenger program.

ummm...no, sorry. not with any flash software.
I heard that it was possible to send a message thru flash to one of the messengers.
However, I don't think flash can recieve a message.
It would be considered a high security risk.
Someone would be able to send a virus thru with a little hacking.
A chat room can be made. It requires other scripting to work.
