How can I export an image (jpg or gif) from swish to photoshop ???
Can't be done in Swish. Images can be extracted from swf's using other programs. But this raises serious ethical issues.Quote:

What programs are you refering to?
There should be no problems as I need to extract some images out of open source
files. the prob. is i cant copy and paste them. I tried to convert them to SWF's but they turned out B&W...
Please keep in mind that when a file is listed as "open source" it is not inended for butchering and reuse of parts. The open source files are intended to be used for learning purposes. If there is an image in a file you would like to use, I suggest you contact the creator of the work. If he/she is willing to give you the image, then you're all set. If he/she is not willing, then you shouldn't be using that artwork anyway.Quote:

1. Make something in Swish;
2. Export it as an swf;
3. Import it into flash as a movie clip or as a movie into the timeline;
4. Get to the frame you want, then export that from Flash as a jpg or gif or whatever format you're looking for...
Does that help? :)
1. For all of you worried that I might "steel" some one's work.
THIS IS NOT THE CASE OR THE PERSON!!!
I'm a flash artist and a web designer my self. This is my work, and I know how it feels having your work stolen by someone, so please ...you've got the wrong guy.
2. What I'm refering to as open source are effects that were put up on an internet site for D/load with a written permission to use any way any one wishes. These files are not for learning purposes. I've sent the author an email reguarding the images but have not recieved a reply yet, and I need it urgently.
3. I did the trick with flash but there are two problems. The images are used in a way that does'nt expose them "by them selves", and for some reason flash imports them in B&W ...
Thnx
