What do you mean by "multipoint gradients"? Is there an example of this you can show?

i dont have a pic to show, but you will have seen them around.
Think radial gradient but with more than one center point that colour comes from.

Like this? If so, just use masking.

This has several colors but I do not know how to change each center.

a bit like the one flashpulse made, but the colours blend together
