Dear God,
Why is it that whenever I see a girl who seems nice and she smiles at me that I always do the best I can to look away??????? Maybe that's why I'm feelin' a bit stupid these days.

Wow, today must be one of those days......
Gerbs is down, I just blew chunks all over the Arena.......sheesh.
I used to have the same problem, until I realized that the reason girls were looking at me was because they were interested. The next time a chick looks at you just smile and make eye contact....that's all. Nothing major. If she smiles back, then say "Hi." casually. She'll start talking, trust me.
I usually get a bout of rigor mortis. Odd, since I'm not dead.
Just stare at women...
They come over and say "What the hell are you staring at me for?"
Then you disarm them with a nice compliment like "I think you're absolutly beautiful"
Then its up to you from there ;)
Thats what he is worried about...:DQuote:

getting a girl is easy,
try to get a guy - that's hard.
everytime I make an eye contact with a nice guy I try to find a reason to talk to him. make comments about stuff, tell him a story that he hopefully can relate to or ask for some simple advice. the main objective is to get some kind of a reply, then go from that. works like a charm every time (although I still get butterflies in my stomach). Of course, not every guy I meet is gay, so that leaves me with lots of friends and just a few lovers :(
darn...
it's a lot easier with a girl.
the next time one looks at you, just tell yourself "I am what I am and if she doesn't like me that way, then she can go to hell" and make your move. :mrpimp:
it must be the weather...
to be bluntly honest...who cares??...if you are really concerned, see a psychologist or a behavioural scientist.Quote:
WTF Is Wrong With Me

flashkid, you should ask:
what is not wrong about me? i think that question, although harder to answer, at least will have less answers.
What's the big deal? The woman at 7-11 smiled at me today when she rang me up at the register.
Dang, I wonder if she wanted my body.
I should go back...
Sometimes people just smile because it's the polite thing to do.
You could have extreme social phobia or an anxiety disorder. You might need medication. I agree with Sir Petley and would suggest you seek some help.
I DO NOT have social phobia. It's just that I'm a little shy sometimes and I'd really like to work on it.
Oh well.......I've got Friday anyhow.
Friday? Like that guy on the desert island? :DQuote:

I'm talkin' bout the fact that I have Comm Skills on Friday
What exactly do you do in Communication Skills 1? Sit around and chat? Sounds like a bit of a dos subject.
Prefacing your comment with the words 'bluntly honest' should and does not give you carte blanche to sound like a complete jackass.Quote:

I stopped being interested in hurricaneone's opinions of me a long time ago (if I ever was) ...and as for jackass, your opinion is your opinion, and means crap to me.
...and you know what, i be bluntly honest again...I still don't care...to see kiddies in the lounge talking about their lack of social skills does not interest me.
It is either a phase they are going through, or they just need more practice talking to real people, instead of typing to a bunch of lounge lizards.
Flahkid, go outside and talk to some real people your own age face to face, learn some social skills that will stand you in good stead.

I swear I've said this all before.Quote:
