geeking out

Man I had the geekyest weekend in a long time. I've been so busy building my co. website and our client sites, and Kylig (a side scroller I'm doing graphics for) that I havnt time for any real gaming in months.

On my way out of Frye's on Sat. I saw the GT4 display. Having promissed myself upon the games announcement to buy it I snatched one. Then I remembered the reason wanted it so bad was the 900 degree wheel logitech was developing to enhance the game. I've never owned a gaming wheel but since I love a good racer it seemed timely. I looked down and there it was.

fast forward past setting it up at home, dragging my smaller dining table out to grip the wheel on and stretching enough wires across the room to make it look like a military barbed wire crawling obstical, and you'll find me dragging it over to try out on my buddies new MAME.

6000 arcade Roms in a full size cabinet with a trackball and steering wheel? Color me sore.
