I remember when I had 10 years of hair removed...hairdresser actually asked me if I wanted to keep my queue...offered to put it in a bag for me.
I asked why I would want to keep a bunch of dead cells...but took it anyway, helped my compost along.

when i shaved off my dreads in 1993 (they were knappy whiteboy hippy dreads, not cool ones like yours), i saved them in a pickle jar. still got 'em!
