NEED HELP BADLY... Problems with drawing tools in Flash 5

I was wondering if anyone can help me with a drawing tool problem in Flash 5.
If I am drawing a square or Circle, I do not see the outline as it is being drawn. All I see is a cross hair with a circle in it. I can't seem to figure out how to fix this. It works fine on two other computers but can't get it working a third. This is quite annoying as you can imagine. I am currently guessing at the size of my shapes. What can I do to fix this. Thank you much for your help..

The only thing I can recommend is that you reinstall the software. This is not something that you turn on and off in the settings.

I have done that 3 times.... It is the only program that does this... I thought it maybe my computer.. thanks for the help though

I am stummped....I do not know why this is not working...I am desperately in need of help...Any ideas anyone???
