cranberries and raspberries is good.
you ever had innocent smoothies? (http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk). all of their smoothies are gorgeous. try to recreate their recipes!! if you see them in the shops- they tell you pretty much the exact recipe in the ingredients list- so it shoudl be easy to recreate.
this one is tasty....
Quote:
3 1/2 pressed apples
1/2 a mashed banana
1/2 a freshly squeezed lemon
a dash of freshly squeezed orange juice
a spoonful of honey
and some lovely fresh ginger
Innocent smoothies are lovely. I just had a bottle of oranges, carrots and mangoes with my lunch :)
I read that as "a bottle of oranges, carrots and maggots" and was all like WTF?Quote:

i used to drink one everyday with the energy boost, after it wore off id sleep the rest of the day.
im jusr curious cause this just hit me, but how does your smoothie maker differ from oh say a blender?
I recently bought a smoothie machine, bought a bunch of fresh fruit and made smoothie's that day....havent touched it since. But i'm lazy.
agian by smoothie machine do you all mean a blender?
Yes, it just squirts it out as it goes and it costs more...
[ insert generic 'your mum' joke ]
i bought one of those, one lovely smoothie, didnt wash up the stupid nozzle, never used again.
I used to LOVE Jamba Juice until I found out how many calories are in one of those babies. OMG!
not one single rum smoothie in the whole lot!!!
any recipe.....add 5 parts rum.....done!
thats what made jamba juices so good, i could pound one while i was eating and gain tons of wieght since the jamba juices are healthy and all
hehehe... its got a tap on the side to allow the juice to come out! :D
That reminds me, I'd better go clean it! :D

brewed Coffee frozen (or if you have espresso, go for that ;)), Vanilla Ice cream, chocolate syrup, ice. Bailey's irish or Kaluha is optional, of course.
Yummm.
Take that fruit.
edit:
I took it you just had a blender, not a smoothine machine. If you can plug up the jucie hole (okay go ahead, everyone giggle) then maybe you can try mine.
