I just removed those from my uncle's computer. It's no easy task. Use Google.
Hi Ultima
i've searched and found the way to remove them manually from
kephyr.com(CWS) kephyr.CWS
kephyr.com(exploit)
kephyr.exploit
but i cant find any of the cuprit files to delete at all...!!!
how did u do it?
thanks
I really don't recall...his computer was such a mess that I used so many different techniques to remove them. The truth is, you have to play around with many of those different things to get the issue resolved. It's not an easy task. To try to prevent this from occuring in the future though, I would run MS Anti-spyware in the background, and use Firefox instead of IE.
thats ok, i checked various sites and it is just too difficult for me to rid of them. I think i will reinstall xpsp2. one question though. i need to transfer my workfiles to cds and, after reinstallation, transfer them back again. the malicious adwares that i have won't be copied into cd is it? I mean are they like virus that can copy itself to cd?
"I've got these...:(" could mean anything. Dangerous thing to say here on CL. ;)
well...THOSE i haven't got :p
dont know which one is worse though.
