Need help with mc
I have a movie clip that has jpgs that fade in and then fade out over time. total of 11 images. when I play just that mc its fine. But when its loaded into another swf it goes really fast. How can I make this slow down? Or is there a better way to do this?
Here is the link website
You will see what I mean immediately.
thanks for any help..

Well, your link did not work for me but the only thing I can think of is that there might be a difference in the fps of each .swf. Check that it is the same through-out. That's all I can suggest at the moment.

thanks for the reply..
Not sure why the link didnt work.. works for me..
The fps is 8 in my mc with the images. and 21 in the main movie. But if i lower this to 8 it will effect my menu and a few other mc.
here is the link again.. www.armygoldenknights.com
thanks

Well don't go changing anything yet, get a second opinion, but I think you will have to change either one or the other for it work as you wish.

Ok.. well hopefully someone will have an idea..

It is because of the different frame rates. You're going to have to change one or the other. I would change the movie with the images to 21 fps. You'll just have to stretch out the layers to make the movie last longer.
Easier than changing your main movie probably.
Or: copy the frames into the main movie, if it doesn't make it too large.

Ok,
Thats what I thought I would have to do.. I just didn't want to have to do it..
Guess there is no actionscript that would do this for me is there? I am very weak on AS but can learn if shown...

No I don't think so. Once a movie is published at a certain frame rate there is no changing it. Someone correct me if this is inaccurate.
