I open the program and get to the "Macromedia Product Activiation" screen. I check "I want to try Macromedia Flash. (29 days remaining)" and then continue. The Flash 8 splash pops up and a few seconds later Flash crashes and XP tells me "Flash 8 has encountered a problem and needs to close."
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have Dreamweaver 8 and Fireworks 8 both of those trials seem to function fine.
Any ideas?
When you reinstalled was your trial expired? If it was you can contact Macromedia and they will reset it.
No, it just continues off from the number of days before I uninstalled.
Macromedia Flash 8 Video Encoder also does not work, but the Flash 8 player works fine (ie. I can view flash 8 examples through my web browser).
Also, I can't find a place on macromedia where they deal with questions for the trial without having pay...
