Sorry for the delay. Been away. Answered now.
For anyone interested, the question is on the topic of SQL/PHP interactions to enable the creation of multiplayer games. Search on the forum for SQL Console, to find a tool I used to start to understand some of these database interactions. The tricky bit was then to manipulate the database interactions to do what I wanted.
