Put the button inside a movie clip and apply the motion script to the movie clip. That should work.
How do you put a button inside a movie clip?Quote:

Actually that doesn't work. The make shapes into clip doesn't work inside a button. But that's close to how it's done.Quote:

Wow! Thank you very much! That was a very easy-to-understand and informative tutorial. Are there any more of this kind anywhere?
I can't figure out how to go back and edit it once I've made the Button. Do I need to create a new button?Quote:

Are there any pre-made buttons anywhere?
I really appreciate all the help! Thanks alot!

There are premade buttons in the program. Make sure you have the "Libraries" zip loaded. There are many examples in there.
Gusmus,
Could you tell me what version that button example was made in? I was unable to use it. It stated it was made in a later version of Kool Moves than I was using and I have 5.1.6
OH OH... sorry I did it on the Beta,, Dumb me Check back later,, I'll do it on 5,1,6
Thank You. I appreciate your efforts.
Actually. just had another look and I think that 5.1.7 is the latest version. Check with Bob but I think you're a version behind. I can't go back to 5.1.6 because it is overwritten.
Thanks, versions .6 and .7 came out back to back and I did not upgrade.
Thanks Gusmus, nice example,
Nice Tutorial Bret! Very Helpful.
