This is my first time starting one of these threads, haven't seen one in a while it seems. Definitely not showing off mine here, just starting to tinker a bit and wanted to see what you guys are sporting these days to get some ideas...

Do you guys have a link to a website that shows you how to mod and change windows XP? And can it screw up ur computer? Ive seen some realy cool modded desktops b4 and ive wanted to try it but i dont want to screw stuff up. I do have an extra computer I could screw around with tho.

NOTE : Be carefull ! You can mess your windows with it if you do something wrong , but LWD says to backup some files.you will find the ones you need to backup in their tutorials.
I have modded my boot logo in windows and that site has a tutorial how to do that , and they have much more tutorials for modding windows.

And if it IS Vista, how do you like it so far?
It's not Beta2, it's just the December CTP's have been labeled that way ;)
Beta2 is just around the corner, though.
Are you running Vista?
I've got Beta 1 on a separate partition. Apart from testing some softwares on it, I don't actually use it, I don't see the point really. Beta 2 looks much more interesting, most of the bundled stuff will (or should) be at least Beta quality by then. WMP11 is shaping up to be a killer app, imo. Can't wait for the final version.
im running build 5270
its pretty nice, installed the server version first by accident and it looked promising, but i uninstalled it and put client version on.
the way it works is still wierd to me, like permissions and what not.
hopefully itll be safer from virus and spyware.
only wierd thing is launching programs etc has a slight delay, and ie has some bugs when switching from tab to tab, but overal lits pretty solid
