Continue a locked thread?

The </religion> thread is locked, but mods are quoting people and posting in it.

Do you consider this an abuse of power?

I say if a thread is locked, it's locked for everyone.... if the mods want to continue the discussion they can take it to the mod forum. If they want to respond to other posters and continue the discussion, then unlock it.

Just doesn't seem fair to me that they continue a thread in here that's locked for everyone else.

getting that last word in on a religious thread is quite a temptation. cant say i blame them! ;)

I can't talk for any other mod, but as a mod in all areas, even if it's locked by another mod, the "Post Reply" button still remains.

Was like that when I was a regular mod in the areas I moderated in too.

I almost posted in it, cause I got a mail notice to it and didn't know it was locked. You can't see that in a mail. It's happened before.
