Half Windsor, half something I can't even remember. I try to keep my tie narrow and the knot tight.
I'm just happy when the big part comes out longer than the thin part...

half windsor and the other lazy one, only because they're the only 2 i know how to tie...
we had ties in our school uniforms when I was a kid.
what?
The Four-in-Hand Knot is the only one my mommy learned me.
Never knew it was called that.
I learn to tie a know a few months ago, not sure what it's called but i think it's British Knot... or something like that... Searched for it on the net but now i can't find it... lol
i use the sailor's knot. it gets some wierd looks but i find it sturdy.
Double Windsor.
It all depends on the tie you have, doesn't it? You'd want the knot to fill up the gap between the two flappy parts of the collar, and depending on the tie thickness you'll either want a half or a double windsor. The 60's tiny knot is basically always unacceptable, unless you're in a cocky Britpop band and sporting giant sideburns. The giganto-knot is for sunbed-tanned show-offs driving around in a Mercedes and wearing white leather mocassins.
I keep seeing this thread as 'Best way to tie the knot'.
For some reason I never expected to see a thread started by Mark along those lines....

I go with a Windsor or a half Windsor, depending on the collar of the shirt.
Either half windser or four in the hand.
